What medicineis beginning to confirm.
Stanford University, the landmark study
In 2024, Stanford published the first controlled clinical study of the root’s primary alkaloid: thirty U.S. Special Operations veterans, one session each. One month on, PTSD, depression and anxiety had fallen by the figures above, disability scores went from 30.2 to 5.1, the level of no disability, and suicidal thinking fell from 47% of the group to 7%. Concentration, memory and processing improved. There were no heart problems. A 2026 follow-up with MRI found their brains measured younger after the session than before.

What people askabout Beond.
How much does Beond cost?
Beond's own cost page publishes $15,000 and $20,000 for the ten-day program, the figure depending on the month and on availability. A fourteen-day program is $5,000 more. Directory listings quote older, lower ranges of $9,500 to $15,500; the clinic's page governs.
Is Beond legit?
Beond is an operating clinic in Cancún that publishes its screening protocol, its pricing and its medical staffing, and its CEO has been quoted in federal coverage of ibogaine. Reviews on its own widget are uniformly positive; directory reviews range from "saved my life" to reservations about the facilities for the price. HealingMaps suggests asking the clinic about third-party accreditation and outside oversight. Read the sources on this page and ask the clinic the questions below.
What is the alternative to Beond?
The question underneath is what you want: an isolated compound in a clinic over ten days, or the whole root held in ceremony in nature inside a thirteen-week journey. Vital Kauaʻi holds the second, on Kauaʻi, as a legally established church within a protected religious context. Members fly domestically, prepare for six weeks from home, spend one week on the island with two held nights, and integrate for six weeks after with weekly one-on-one calls.
Beond or a ceremony on Kauaʻi?
Beond publishes a medical program around ibogaine hydrochloride, in a clinic, with hospital-style monitoring. We hold the whole root in ceremony, in nature, with a medical consultation and clearance before, an EKG on-island, and our medical provider present overnight. The comparison table on this page sets the two side by side, row by row, so the difference is plain before you choose. If you are unsure, the discovery call is thirty minutes and free.
What should I ask Beond, or any clinic?
Who takes my EKG, and when? Who is in the room overnight? Is it the whole root or an isolated compound? What happens the first week after I fly home, and who holds that? Which tier applies to my dates, and what does the price include? The answers tell you most of what you need to know.
Is ibogaine legal in Mexico?
Ibogaine sits outside Mexico's controlled-substance schedules and outside COFEPRIS approval as a medicine. Clinics such as Beond operate in that space, under a physician, each setting its own protocol. In the United States, iboga and ibogaine remain Schedule I under federal law.
